GearForge — Privacy Policy

1. What we do NOT collect

GearForge does not require an account and does not collect, store or transmit any of the following:

• Names, email addresses, phone numbers or other contact details.
• Location data.
• Photos, contacts or files from your device. Exported gear files are written to your own Downloads folder and are never uploaded.
• Health, financial or other sensitive personal data.

2. Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app displays Google AdMob rewarded video ads at the export gate. AdMob and its partners may use the device’s advertising identifier (Ad ID) and other device information to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads.

• For users in the EEA/UK and other applicable regions, we show Google’s UMP (User Messaging Platform) consent form before any ads are loaded, and the app respects your consent choice.
• You can reset or opt out of personalized ads in your device settings (Settings → Google → Ads), or via Google’s Ads Settings.

Google’s use of data is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy.

3. Purchases (Google Play Billing)

The app offers a one-time “Pro” in-app purchase via Google Play Billing. Payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play; the app never sees or stores your payment card details. Your purchase is tied to your Google Account and can be restored on other devices signed in to the same account.

4. Data stored on device

The app stores only lightweight local preferences on your device (theme, language, units, Pro status, remaining free-export count) using Android SharedPreferences. This data never leaves your device.

5. Children

The app is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

6. Changes & contact

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected in-app.
